How would I check to see if Titleist 990 B DCI Irons are authentic?

How would I check to see if Titleist 990 B DCI Irons are authentic?
I purchased some Titleist irons from an auction site and I want to make sure that they are not fakes. I already went on teamtitleist.com and did not know what to do. Apparently,

the best thing to do is give titlist's customer service a call or an email, or take them to a local pro. taking it to Carls' or Golf Galaxy would make you look like an a** hole for not buying clubs from them. give titlist a try they are good peo
